Shipping policy

All of our packages are processed the day after the order is placed and shipped to Canadians by Canada Post using discounted shipping rates. 

The competitive rates offered to our customers originate from a collaboration between Canada Post and Shopify and are possible because of the large volume of shipments Shopify e-commerce sites, like this one, provide to Canada Post.

This collaboration led to three Canada Post shipping services being offered to Canadians at the shopping cart checkout:

  1. Expedited Parcel™ Shipping
  2. Xpresspost™ Shipping
  3. Priority™ Shipping

All three services include tracking and liability coverage (up to $100).

Estimated shipping times are automatically calculated at checkout after the shipping addresses has been entered. Here are some points to consider when reviewing the estimated shipping time:

  • Weekends and statutory holidays are included in the estimated delivery dates calculation.
  • Business days are considered Monday to Friday.
  • The business day cutoff time is 12 pm in the local timezone of the shipping origin.

For international markets, we currently offer competitive shipping via Canada Post to the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Spain residents. It includes tracking and liability coverage as well.

Across The Pond reserves the right to select a different shipping carrier providing that the carrier offers equivalent services and shipping time.
